travel bug

 So, i gave up my rented flat, moved back home, quit my job and booked a flight to Mumbai. I fly out on the 3rd of November 2011 and fly back to the UK on the 30th of March 2012....yep, i'm away traveling for 5 whole months!
I'm not going alone, my boyfriend is joining me, it's something we have always talked about doing and he finally took the plunge and applied for a career break, which he was thankfully granted.

First stop is Southern India, followed by a flight to Bangkok, heading north towards Laos and Vietnam. We will then travel south, along the coast of Vietnam, stopping off at Cambodia, through Malaysia and finally ending our journey in Bali. Although it seems like we have a solid plan we have only booked our main flights and have no tight time schedule, so anything can happen and no doubt things will suddenly change.

I plan on blogging as usual, hopefully more (internet access dependant) and sharing my travel highs and lows as well as my very limited suitcase wardrobe. The only reason for me to stop blogging is if my laptop or camera are stolen/damaged whilst im away. There is no way i could get them replaced until i return to the UK. Not gonna lie, as materialistic as it sounds, this does scare me, as i love taking photos of everything and anything, so fingers crossed they both survive the trip.

If anyone out there has been to any of these wonderful countries and can recommend (cheap) places to stay/go please do get in touch, i also enjoy hearing peoples travel stories good or bad so please do share.
